Prof Dr Sommer’s activities are subject to the professional regulations of the Federal Lawyers Act (BRAO), the professional code of conduct, the specialist lawyers’ code of conduct, Germany’s Fee Schedule for Lawyers (RVG) and the Professional Rules for Lawyers in the European Union. Lawyers are prohibited by professional rules and regulations (sec. 43a(4) BRAO) from representing conflicting interests.
